Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1
- Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, also called as Saigon, the most dynamic city in Vietnam. Upon arrival, welcomed by the local driver and transfer to the down town (2 separates pick up for 2 separates flights). Check in your hotel. Have short break.
- Afternoon, at 1pm pick up by tour guide and visit Cu Chi tunnels – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, we're invited to enter a section of the tunnels to witness the secrets of the tunnels firsthand. Our guide will also show us various mantraps employed from this period, the remains of an American tank and numerous B52 bomb craters. There is also the opportunity to fire an M60, M16 or AK47 rifle at the range next to the tunnel complex (bullets to be purchased on spot).
- Return to Saigon by late afternoon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2
- At 8am, pick up by tour guide and we head to My Tho, the homeland of coconut and local products like coconut candy, rice paper,… Upon arrival, embark on the boat cruising on the mighty Mekong River viewing the life to the local people live along the banks. We stop at one of 4 islands in the area for sightseeing. Enjoy the fresh tropical fruits served in the heart of the garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music at the plantation. Embark on the small boats rowed the local people thru the small cannels with water coconut tree to visit the local factories. There you will taste the honey tea and see the local people produce the coconut candy milk and of course you also can try it or stroll in the garden where the locals feed honeybee.
- This afternoon, we take the boat back to the mainland then drive back to Saigon. Stop on the way to visit Vinh Trang pagoda, one of the biggest pagoda in the region. The beautiful structure features a mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese and Angkor (Cambodian) architectural styles.
- Overnight in Saigon. Happy Life Grand Hotel & Sky Bar.
Day 3
- At apointment time, transfer to the airport with driver only (no guide) to board a flight toPhu Quoc, the largest island of Vietnam. This peaceful tropical paradise, floats in the warm turquoise waters in the Gulf of Thailand, 50kms from the Vietnamese mainland, is becoming well known for its stunning beaches, untouched natural environment.
- Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer to the hotel for drop off luggage and check in. Afternoon, visit Sao beach for relax, swimming, sunbath. Next, visit Sunset Town, which located at the south end of Pearl Island. It has another name which is “Mediterranean Town” of Phu Quoc. The place is one of the sought-after check-in spots. The complex is an area that recreates famous landmarks worldwide, such as Arc de Triomphe, Pompeii Ruins, the Colosseum, walking of Kiss Bridge, etc.
- Later, at 9pm enjoy Kiss Of The Sea show - The multi-sensory show, an extravaganza oflight, music, fireworks and acrobatic performances by 60 internationalperforming artists hailing from 20 countries, the show has been described as adazzling spectacle for 30 mins.
- Transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 4
- At 8am, pick up by guide and vehicle, we transfer to An Thoi harbor where you embark on Hon Thom cable car (about 25 minutes) across above the ocean. During the journey of nearly 8km, freely enjoy the scenery, enjoy the pristine beauty of Phu Quoc from above, record the beautiful moments of the famous in-the-earth paradise in Vietnam.
- We visit Thom Island and enjoy time at Theme Park and Water Park.
- From Hon Thom Island, embark on the canoe for an islands tour. You will pass by 12 small islets and spend time visiting 4 biggest islands of Phu Quoc including: Mong Tay Island (or May Rut Ngoai), known as the miniature Maldives of Vietnam on the island, with unspoiled beauty, jade blue sea and long, smooth white sand beach. Hon Gam Ghi Island (Dam Ngang) or Hon Bom, you can relax in the blue water, snorkel on the coral reefs, contemplate the interesting rock formations.
- May Rut Island with white sand lagoon – a unique place to chill out and check in with Bali bird's nest, heaven's ladder, ocean net bed, sun ring. During the visit, if you are the fan of the colorful coral reef, you can experience sea-walk exploring the coral park with 250 identical species of creatures together with the large corals reef that are preserved nowadays (your own expense – USD 75/pax).
- By end of the afternoon, disembark and drive back to our hotel to relax. Overnight in Phu Quoc. Back to hotel. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 5
- This morning, we transfer to discover a fascinating world of animals at Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, the largest wildlife conservation park in Vietnam and the only one of its kind (semi-wildlife) in the country. Hop on our buses and enjoy a fantastic tour through the 380-hectare safari free of enclosures. See wild animals through a pane of glass while animals enjoy their natural habitats. Here you can also admire many interesting animals shows here. Note: The Safari closes daily at 4:00 PM. There are two main areas inside: - The Safari zone – where guests ride a bus through open habitats while the animals roam freely outside. - The Zoo zone – similar to a traditional zoo, where animals are in enclosures and guests walk around to view them.
- The bus ride in the Safari zone is included in the entrance ticket. However, the shuttle bus in the Zoo zone is optional and not included in the entrance ticket. Should you wish to use it, there is an additional charge of INR 528 per person.
- This afternoon, we discover VinWonders Phu Quoc – the largest theme park in Vietnam. The park has a size of nearly 50 hectares, built with 6 subdivisions and 12 unique themes that offer visitors captivating stories, unparalleled adventures and thirlling games. For those who love water park, the Typhoon World promises endless fun and a series of water games, including the 2 largest slides in Vietnam, where we can dive into the refreshing waters to unwind.
- Later, visit Grand World Phu Quoc. With a scale of 85 hectares, the area owns splendid and magnificent architecture which is inspired by the European cities. Venice River, or Lake of Love, is considered one of the best imitations of the original river in Venice City, Italy. Here, you can choose to sit on the gondolas (at your own cost) along the river to watch the romantic scenery created by a lot of sophisticated buildings. Families with children can also visit Teddy Bear Museum - inspired by The Indiana Jones movie, with more than 20 zones to observe giant or cute bears from all continents since ancient times (entrance ticket at your own cost). Remaining time is to visit other attractions in Grand World such as BamBoo House, Urban Park, or Beach Square, all are ticket-free.
- After that, back to Vinpearl Safari for Night Safari. This offers the first night experience, particularly for those interested in observe nocturnal animals in their natural habitat in a semi-wild environment. The night safari offers a unique encounters with animals like rhinos, primates, flamingos, and Bengal tigers. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 6
- At apointment time, transfer to the airport with driver only (no guide) to board a flight to Danang. Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer downtown. Start our city tour visting the 4 famous bridges of the city: Han River Bridge - Constructed in 1997, the Han River Bridge was the first swing bridge built by Vietnamese architects and workers. This makes it a symbol of the city’s emergence and the vitality of Danang’s people. Tran Thi Ly Bridge - The colors of the bridge’s elegant pylon and deck change at night, creating an iconic, eye-catching landmark in the city every evening. Dragon Bridge - Showcasing the city’s rise, the bridge is a significant landmark of Danang. Every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00pm, the dragon breathes fire and water, creating a fantastic photo opportunity. Love Lock Bridge - Hundreds of couples visit this bridge every day to leave the love locks that symbolize their lifelong togetherness and love bond. The bridge becomes enchanting at night when the thousands of heart-shaped red lanterns show their glitters in the water and make it sparkle.
- Continue transferring to visit Son Tra peninsula- the biggest pagoda in Central Vietnam. We keep visiting the Linh Ung Bai But pagoda with the tallest Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam. The Linh Ung Bai But is on the Son Tra peninsula also called the Monkey Mountain. It is very common to see a lot of monkeys on the trees.
- Check in your hotel. Overnight in Danang.
Day 7
- At 8am, pick up by tour guide and transfer to Ba Na hills and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Reach the French-inspired hilltop resort, we visit the Old Villas, French Stable, and Tinh Tam Garden with our English-speaking guide for a walk down the hills’ memory lane. Admire the lush vegetation and the rich terrains of Truong Son mountain that stretches to the East Sea from the iconic Golden Bridge. Just a few steps away from the village stands the Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the 27-meter high Buddha statue. See an impressive facade of traditional Vietnamese architecture when we visit the pagoda. Next, head to Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion for a walk through well-manicured landscapes that serve as gorgeous backdrops for photoshoots. We reach Nui Chua Peak, marvel at the natural reserve's beauty and remember to snap a photo or two.
- Our next stop will be the Fantasy Park, an amusement park inspired by French chateaus and palaces. Hop on a rollercoaster and make it a memorable one by getting our pictures taken while riding. Have fun with exciting rides fit for all ages. For our last destination, drop by Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple for a glimpse of Vietnam’s Buddhist culture. Tour the temple complex, where a 9-story pagoda and teahouse sit 1,487 meters above sea level. Please note: Wax Museum entrance fee (USD 6/pax), Debay Wine Cellar entrance fee (USD 6/pax for Silver ticket, including 1 glass of wine, or cocktail, or fruit juice), coin games at Fantasy Park are not included in the entrance ticket, joining them will be at your own account.
- Go downhill by cable car and return to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beach. Overnight in Danang.
Day 8
- Afternoon, at 2pm pick up by tour guide and we transfer to visit Cam Thanh water coconut village. Receive a briefing about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community before we board on boat and enjoy cruising. Join the local fisherman on the river as we try your hand at casting a net, learn how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat and explore the now tranquil coconut-palm flanking the waterways. Also learn about the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides in this area during the Vietnam War. Relax and enjoy the surroundings before transferring to visit Hoian ancient town.
- You take interesting walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls, enjoy the attractiveness of ancient houses or listen to folk music of Central Vietnam at old club-houses. Later we can stop at shrines or stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, where you may find the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoian a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. This is also a wonderful town to shop for lanterns, soft silk, raw silk, or get your clothes tailored within a day.
- Transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Danang.
Day 9
- At apointment time, transfer to the airport with driver only (no guide) to take a flight to Hanoi City, the capitol of Vietnam.
- Upon arrival, greeted by the local tour gudie and transfer to downtown. Check in your hotel.
- Afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Start our visit at the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam. Later, we have an overall view of the capital by leisure walk , which wanders around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). From here wandering on the narrow streets of the Old Quarter to experience the daily life of the local people.
- Back to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10
- At 7:30am, picked up by driver and head East for 4 hours driving via normal way to Halong Bay (express way available with supplement charge), the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006.
- Upon arrival in Halong, check in the overnight cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes.
- After a lunch on board, we can visit the Grottos, stop for swimming or kayaking, passing floating houses and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close distance.
- Back to the cruise, enjoy cooking demonstration before having dinner.
- Evening attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure.
Day 11
- You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the "East Sea" by a point-oriented name "Eastern Sea", so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay.
- After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Check out your room and have brunch on board while the cruise coming back the pier.
- Disembark from the cruise, pick up and transfer back to Hanoi with driver only (no guide) via normal way.
- Check in your hotel. Free time at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12
- At 10am, pick up by tour guide and have fullday shopping at malls around city center or for city tour (entrance fee at your own account). Then at 5pm transfer to the airport for the flight back to your sweet home that departs at 8pm.
