Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1
- EK 125 arrives Vienna at 18:50 PM (Terminal 3)
- Private transfer to hotel (approx 30–40 min).
- Light dinner close to hotel; short walk to Stephansplatz if energy permits.
- Optional: Visit Prater Amusement Park (gentle rides available)
- Overnight: Vienna.
Day 2
- Morning: Schönbrunn Palace (book timed entry, palace).
- Explore the Imperial Apartments, Children’s Museum (excellent for 3-year-olds)
- Time in Schönbrunn Gardens (open spaces to run/play)
- Optional ride on the Panorama Train inside the gardens (ideal for avoiding walking).
- After lunch get ready for Vienna City Highlights
- Ringstrasse panoramic drive, Hofburg Palace (outside), Austrian Parliament (photo stop)
- Rathaus (City Hall gardens are great for kids)
- Overnight: Vienna
Day 3
- After breakfast visit Tiergarten Schönbrunn (Vienna Zoo).
- Very child friendly with stroller-access paths.
- Afternoon Options (Choose 1 depending on energy):
- Option A — Vienna Haus der Musik – interactive musical museum (kids love the sound experiments.
- Option B — Belvedere Gardens – open lawns and short museum visit
- Option C— Prater Park – child-friendly rides, soft play areas.
- Evening: Walk around Kärntner Strasse for easy dinner + souvenir shopping.
- Overnight: Vienna.
Day 4
- Morning Check out. Take Railjet from Vienna Hbf to Salzburg Hbf Journey ~2½ hrs. Train line
- Upon arrival check in to the hotel and head for the Quick Mirabell Gardens + photo stop.
- A good walk around the Old Town (Getreidegasse) covering a few history; dinner near the river.
- Overnight: Salzburg.
Day 5
- Early morning: Train/Van Salzburg → Innsbruck (~1 hr 45 min direct). (Take a morning service to maximize day.)
- Innsbruck highlights: Golden Roof (Altstadt), Hofburg, Maria-Theresien-Strasse.
- Avail a Nordkette cable car (Seegrube) for Alpine views or short transfer to Swarovski Crystal Worlds (Wattens) — both excellent for couples.
- Return train to Salzburg (~1 hr 45 min).
- Overnight: Salzburg.
Day 6
- Full day: Private or group day tour to Hallstatt (drive or train and bus depending on tour).
- Key stops: Hallstatt village, Skywalk viewpoint, optional boat ride on the lake, salt mine.
- Overnight: Salzburg.
Day 7
- Depart Salzburg mid-morning, Train to Budapest (~5 hrs, direct or 1-change depending on timing)
- Check in at Budapest hotel and get some rest.
- Danube Riverside walk (flat, stroller-friendly)
- Overnight: Budapest.
Day 8
- After Breakfast explore Pest side: Heroes’ Square, City Park, Vajdahunyad Castle; Széchenyi ThermalBaths (family pools) — prebook private cabin.
- Evening can be spent at Christmas markets at Vörösmarty Square or the famous Ruinz Bar.
- Overnight: Budapest.
Day 9
- After breakfast explore Buda side in the Morning: Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias Church, Buda Castle & funicular. Great photo points.
- Afternoon: Gellért Hill viewpoint, Budapest’s famous Central Market Hall (easy for souvenirs & snacks)
- Overnight: Budapest.
Day 10
- After breakfast get ready and check out.
- Airport transfer: For international flights, leave hotel 4 hours before departure time (standard recommendation.
- Depart Budapest on 29 May.
